A loan helped to purchase additional printers for his IT shop.

Joljol's story

Joljol is a refugee, but, more than that, he is a skilled entrepreneur and a business owner with a proven track record of success. Since opening, his IT shop has gained a good reputation in the camp and amassed a strong base of loyal customers.

It started in 2013, when Joljol fled the violence in North Sudan due to political insecurities. After resettling at the Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya, Joljol soon started his IT shop as way of providing himself with a stable livelihood. The shop has grown considerably and serves the community with printing and internet services.

After participating in AEC’s business training program which focused on improving financial management and increasing sales, Joljol is requesting a loan to grow his business even further. This loan will help him to purchase additional printers for the shop, offering the community more options and enabling him expand his business.
