Ukumbusho Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 32 jugs of oil to bolster her initial capital.

Ukumbusho Group's story

Madame Zabulonda is a client of IMF Hekima and oversees the "Ukumbusho" groupe villageoise. She is 30 years old, married, and the mother of six children who all go to school. Her partner is a retail trader.

Zabulonda sells palm oil. She started her business in 2009 with startup capital earned from her work.

Later on, Zabulonda joined Hekima's loan program to support her business, which has grown progressively over time. With this loan, she wants to buy 32 jugs of oil that will bolster initial capital. The challenge with her activity is that she doesn't have enough clients.

Zabulonda wants her children to continue with their schooling and she wants to build a home for her family. In closing, she wants to thank Hekima and their partners for the support they give to non-bankable business owners, especially in the context of the COVID-19 global crisis. The photo is only of the business owner due to COVID-19.
