El Tucan Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy drums of oil, rice, sugar, beans, and corn to supply her store.

El Tucan Group's story

Meet the women of "El Tucan," a loan group organized by Pro Mujer in the city of Managua, Nicaragua.

One of the members is Maria de Jesus, who is 37 years old. In the photo, she is second from the left, wearing the blue jean shorts. She is the president of the group, and she has worked with loans for 4 loan cycles.

Currently, she has a store, but her dream is to have a corner store. She works hard with her family to achieve this, but she needs a loan to supply her business.

She plans to buy drums of oil, rice, sugar, beans, and corn. With this, she will increase her store's inventory, as well as her income. The main challenge she faces is competition. The loan will enable her to buy wholesale, so she can give her customers better prices.

They are counting on your help to go forward!
