A loan helped to buy dairy cows to expand her herd and increase sales of organic milk.

Zhuzumbu's story

Zhuzumbu, age 56, is married and has four children. She has a secondary education and is hardworking, goal-oriented, and enterprising by nature. She is well versed in the technical aspects of running an agricultural business and knows how to manage a budget. She has been raising livestock since 2000 as the primary source of income for her family. Thanks to her hard work and responsible work approach, she has been able to develop her farm to include two cows, 50 sheep, and a horse. She has 2.22 hectares of land where she grows beans.

In order to further develop her farm, Zhuzumbu applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 200,000 som (KGS) to buy dairy cows, with the goal of increasing sales of organic milk and increasing her income from raising livestock. She plans to invest profits from the loan in the further development of her farm.
