Mujeres Trabajadoras Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy bread products, drinks, canned goods, meat, and other products.

Mujeres Trabajadoras Group's story

This group formed with the goal of improving every one of the members. Among them is Virginia, who works in sales. She has a grocery store where she offers all types of products. She mentions that she started with very little, but has kept improving herself thanks to her effort and daily fight. She also comments that her work has enabled her to help her family and give them a decent quality of life, without unmet needs like she experienced. She is happy to be a part of this group, which will greatly help her to improve herself, her quality of life, and that of her family.

She also mentions that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, her work was affected since she could not work normally. At the same time, this also affected her payments. She requested this loan to buy products to stock her grocery store, such as bread products, drinks, canned goods, meat, and other products in order to continue with her sales as she has been doing.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo while avoiding large gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic.
