Mujeres Unidas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy flour, eggs, lard, ham, cheese, chicken and other ingredients.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

This committee is called Mujeres Unidas. It was formed with the wish of improving their living conditions so that they can give their loved ones everything that they weren't able to have. They are enterprising women who want to overcome and are eager to get ahead.

One of them is Liz, who is single mother and who seeks a way to help her children through her work. She remarks that she works in a public institution and that in the afternoon she makes cakes and tarts to sell and also for all kinds of events. Her goal is to be able to keep improving and to boost her business more so that she can support her home and her family. Liz is happy to have joined the group, which will be a big help for her.

She is asking for this loan to buy ingredients to make her food, like flour, eggs, lard, ham, cheese, chicken and other ingredients.

Note: In the photo, there is only one person, but this is a group loan. A group photo wasn't possible because they were avoiding the conglomeration of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
