A loan helped to buy cereals and crates of smoked and dried fish.

04_Ndiop Group's story

Since its creation, this group has been made up of supportive and dynamic women. Their main business activities are trade, fattening, and agriculture, and they maintain good relations.

Yacine, standing at the right in the photo with her hand raised, is the group representative. She is 46 years old, married, and mother of four children, including two boys. She has been active in trade for years and has a good command of the sector.

With her new loan, she plans to purchase cereals (sorrel, peanuts, and millet) that she will then resell with a good profit margin. With the rest of the loan, she plans to purchase crates of smoked and dried fish that she will also resell in small quantities.

The profits earned will allow her to participate in daily expenses and also to boost her savings in the village bank. Please note: a child is whited out in the photo to ensure their privacy is maintained.
