A loan helped to buy a baby cow.

Muong Phang 41 Group's story

Ms. Hoan, 34 years old, is a Thai ethnic woman who is married and has two children: the daughter is in 7th grade and the son is in 3rd grade. Her family lives in a small house on stilts in a poor village in Dien Bien province.

She and her husband work together to farm to generate income for the family. Besides, she always wanted to expand her husbandry, especially cow raising, to increase production and improve her family economy, so she decided to get a fifth loan from the Anh Chi Em program to invest in buying a baby cow. She hopes that as the home location is near the hill and the cow is easy to raise, her work will be favorable. At the same time, with the technical support from the program's staff, her baby cow will grow fast, be healthy and reproduce well. With the interest, she plans to use it to invest in her children's schooling.
