A loan helped to buy ingredients to make snacks and homemade sweets.

Areliza Ernestina's story

Areliza Ernestina and her family live in Tosagua, a productive canton in which they grow cacao, coffee, bananas, and corn, among others. They also devote themselves to livestock where they raise poultry and pigs.

Areliza Ernestina has been making sweets, snacks, and food for celebrations and social commitments for many years. She makes these and makes deliveries to homes with the help of her daughter. She also has a farm where she raises chickens. With this business activity she is generating the resources that allow her to get ahead.

At first the health crisis was very bad for her because she was not able to sell. However, little by little she is now reactivating in order to be able to continue generating earnings in this way. This loan is to buy supplies to continue making the snacks, homemade sweets, and balanced meals, etc. Her dream is to be in good health and for her business to continue growing.
