Abakoranabushake Tcb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more plantains, potatoes, and cassava to sell.

Abakoranabushake Tcb Group's story

Jeanne is 48 years old, married and the mother of seven children who range in age from 3 to 26 years old. Her husband is a farmer and for the past ten years, she has earned a living by selling foodstuffs.

Jeanne leads a loan group named Abakoranabushake TCB (which in English means “people working with willingness”). Group members earn a living by selling various items and owning a variety of businesses.

Jeanne will use her loan to buy more plantains, potatoes, and cassava to sell to people in her community. With the profits from her sales, she will be able to buy livestock and finish building her house.

She is grateful for the support of Kiva lenders. Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members but was able to photograph one representative member.
