La Amistad Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables to sell.

La Amistad Group's story

The group called La Amistad is in its loan cycle number 4. In addition, they are in the poverty elimination program, where they all struggle for a better quality of life and to be able to offer their families a better future.

One of the members is Tomasa, who sells fruits and vegetables to earn a living. She states that she began modestly and, little by little, she has been improving until getting to where she is today. She is a self-sacrificing person who struggles for her loved ones so that they lack for nothing and do not experience any type of hardship like those she had to experience.

She asks for this loan to be able to purchase more fresh products to sell, since she wants a greater variety of fruits and vegetables, and in this way to continue improving as she has been doing.

Note: There is only one person in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo was not possible to prevent the gathering of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
