Concepción Del Jesus's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy medicines, diapers, etc. to sell in her pharmacy.

Concepción Del Jesus's story

Concepción Del Jesus is married. She had six children but one died. Four are grown and independent. The youngest is 15 years old and in high school. Her husband doesn't work because of heath reasons. They live in La Sequita de Montecristi, a town known for its famous straw hats that are highly regarded both within the country and abroad.

Concepción Del Jesus works hard every day in her small pharmacy where she sells medicines, diapers, shampoo, colognes, etc. Her children help her with sales when she is busy. At her house she also takes advantage of a space on her patio to raise chickens and pigs. When they are big she sells them live, and also sells them by the pound at times.

All her family got sick with Covid-19 but are now recuperating a little. This loan is to continue stocking her pharmacy with the medications and other products people always seek from her, and to buy food for her pigs and chickens.

At the beginning the pandemic was very bad for her as she couldn't sell, and she was sick. Now, however, she is reactivating her business little by little in order to continue generating income.

With this loan she will buy medicine, diapers, etc. Concepción's dream is to have a big pharmacy and that her business continue growing.
