This group of 15 brave women was created in January 2016. They live in the same neighborhood and maintain good relationships based on trust and mutual help. They are involved in various income-generating activities.

Fatoumata Bintou, the president, is 48 years old. She is to the right of the photo, raising her hand. Fatoumata Bintou is married and mother of four children, including a boy who is a twin. All the children are in school. She works at a local factory four days a week.

Fatoumata Bintou sells sweet potatoes and bed sheets. She gets her supplies from wholesalers in the capital and resells in her local market. She has good experience of nearly 10 years in this field. She will buy 10 bags of sweet potatoes which she gives on credit to the market retailers and will collect her money every 15 days. She makes her rounds twice a month. At the same time, she will get 15 bed sheets that she also sells on credit but to be paid at each end of the month. Her business is going well and her customers respect deadlines.
