Diana Patricia's story

Diana Patricia is a micro-entrepreneur with over 15 years of commercial experience in selling wholesale cheese, medicine, and eggs. She sells to her neighbors from her home. She started doing this work so she could support her home. She learned this work when she was young, at the hand of her colleagues. She also sells products by foot and has been expanding her clientele over time. She specializes in selling large quantities to restaurants, supermarkets, and other salespeople.

She works Mondays through Sundays and has seen success due to her charisma and the excellent attention she offers to the public. She is a single mother and lives with her mother and two of her children.

Diana has been displaced by violence and with her mother, had to abandon her homeland twenty years ago. The pandemic has affected her sales and her income. She needs to increase her inventory to mitigate the impact of COVID-19. She is applying for a Kiva loan, the first financing she has requested from Fundación Santo Domingo. She will invest in paying rent, bills to providers, and in the purchase of cheese, medicine, and eggs. Diana hopes to increase her sales so she can improve her income. For this, she needs an injection of capital to strengthen her business plan.

Support her with a loan - she will be a success!
