And-Jef Hlm Rte De Gossas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped develop and promote the business activities of the group.

And-Jef Hlm Rte De Gossas Group's story

The group AND-JEF from the Banc Villageois of HLM, on the GOSSAS Road was created 6 months ago. They have just finished repaying their first loan with CAURIE-MF and no irregularity was found in their repayment of their loan. They all come from the same neighborhood and mostly sell cloth, incense, perfume, cosmetics, etc. Before joining CAURIE-MF, they had come together as a group with the same economic interests and participated in "merry-go-round" funds (revolving small loans), which allowed them to stay in business. Since they began to receive CAURIE-MF loans, they have been able to intensify and expand their field of activity. They are very united as far as possibilities for diversifying their businesses go. Madame Bineta T., the president of the group, on the far right in the photo, wrapped in a length of flowered cloth, is 51, married, and the mother of four children as well as being responsible for her cousin. She has been selling cloth for more than 10 years. She buys wholesale in Dakar and sells in her neighborhood and the surrounding areas. Her new loan will serve to reinforce her working capital and her goal is to be able to put aside more savings and help to improve living conditions for her family, for example improving their nutrition and making sure her children have everything they need to stay healthy.
