A loan helped to buy wholesale wood, a professional cutter and to cover general expenses.

Cristian Julio's story

Cristian Julio is a 34-year-old micro-entrepreneur living in the municipality of Palmar de Varela with his partner. He set up a carpentry business 5 years ago. He learned this job from his father who also works in the same activity.

Our micro-entrepreneur makes all kinds of products in wood, in particular doors, dressers and everything related to wood like beds among other items.

His clients are family, friends, referrals and schools among others. He currently has his own lot which is where he carries out his daily work.

Thanks to this business he has managed to stabilise his home and business finances. But due to the Covid-19 pandemic that occurred worldwide, his work level deteriorated due to biosafety issues, and his income fell drastically.

For this reason he joined the Atlantic Responds program to request his first loan with the Santo Domingo Foundation in order to buy wholesale wood and a professional cutter, and to cover general expenses.

Please support him with this loan for his business.
