Julianah's story

Meet Julianah, a repeat borrower. She is a 46-year-old mother of three school-going children living in Kapcherop, a town surrounded by prime agricultural lands which favor large-scale grain, dairy, and horticultural farming.

The COVID-19 pandemic has posed a significant threat to the economy of Kenya, causing a lot of uncertainties and disrupting food supply chains. Juhudi Kilimo, in partnership with Kiva, is on the front line in combating this pandemic through supporting smallholder farmers and micro-entrepreneurs in this difficult period.

Julianah is seeking this loan to buy farming inputs which she will use to improve her production and make more income to support her family. Support her at this time when the world is focused on combatting the COVID-19 pandemic.
