Uuljan's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dairy cows in order to increase the volume of milk she sells.

Uuljan's story

This lovely young woman Uuljan is 36 years old, married and raises four children. She is calm and empathetic by nature.

As a main source of income for her family, Uuljan has been involved in animal husbandry and crop farming since 2006. Thanks to her hard work and her husband's help with the farm, Uuljan currently has three cows, 10 sheep and 0.29 hectares of irrigated land where she grows organic potatoes.

With the goal of further developing her business, Uuljan requests support from Kiva Fund in the amount of 200,000 som (KGS) to buy cattle in order to increase her income from sales of organic milk. The proceeds from the loan will help her expand her farm by increasing the headcount of pedigree cows and to provide good education to her children.
