Audrilis Maria's story

Audrilis Maria is a 53-year-old microentrepreneur, a resident of the municipality of Baranoa who lives with her spouse.

For 3 years, her commercial activity has been providing car-washing services and selling products such as: oils, chains, and other accessories for vehicles that the customer wants to change at the time.

This business idea arose because her family has made a living from this activity. After some time, she decided to learn what was necessary to then open it and thus generate her own income.

The microentrepreneur feels grateful to life because this activity has allowed her to provide for her home and her business. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic that appeared at a global level, her work level deteriorated due to biosecurity issues and her income drastically diminished.

For this reason, she connected with the Programa Atlántico Responde in order to request her first Kiva loan with the Fundación Santo Domingo with the objective of investing in the purchase of liquid soaps, oils, sponges, and oil dryers, among others, as well as general business expenses, and to pay for employees and services, among others.

Support her with her loan for her business.
