Ko'e Pyahu Nueva Esperanza Group's story

Maxima continues to push through economic crisis in Paraguay as she makes more than one hundred empanadas to sell everyday.

She runs her food stand and general store from her home and works to provide as a single mother of five.

Her new goal is to motivate her older children to work with her and grow the business together as a family. With her current loan she will restock on quality ingredients to make traditional Paraguayan fast foods.

Others in Maxima's group have general stores, sell cleaning products, or sell homemade food.
