Rose's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase high quality seeds, good fertilizer, and pesticides that she will use to greatly improve her horticulture crop production.

Rose's story

As 2020 is almost over, Rose has made resolutions, and one of them is to be a successful farmer in 2020 by increasing her farming.

Rose is a mom who lives in the Meru area of Kenya.

Rose was unable to study to have a professional career because of her family's poor condition. However, she never gave up and she has been practising farming for the past few years.

Rose has always had a liking for farming. She is a very proud farmer, especially when she is milking her cows. She also keeps animals on her farm.

Rose also practises horticulture farming, but she has not been making good profits because of poor farming inputs. That is why she is seeking a loan to buy farm inputs. Through the loan, she will be able to purchase high quality seeds, good fertilizer, and pesticides that she will use to greatly improve her horticulture crop production.

Modern farming requires the use of modern techniques, and high quality seeds will ensure a bumper harvest and increased profits. Rose is very forward-looking, and her goal for the season is to boost her horticulture crop production over the previous year. All this can be achieved through lenders’ help and goodwill.
