A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child's educational needs.

Asiah's story

Good day lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Asiah. She is 46 years old and is married with two sons. Asiah and her husband run a food stall business that sells snacks. One of her children is still in school. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their family is the implementation of school from home which depends on an online system. This made it difficult for their children to access the course materials and sending assignments to teachers.

She has applied for a loan of 1,900,000 Indonesian rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child's educational needs. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her food stall business.

Asiah is a very hardworking mother who always strives the best for her children and improves the living conditions and creates a happy life. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank all lenders.
