Kenia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to obtain a solar powered freezer system for her grocery store.
Kenia lives in a community of Yoro in Honduras. She is 30 years old and for more than three years she has been living with her 3 children. Her husband earns a living cultivating basic grains. She is a very entrepreneurial woman, which is why through her efforts she has a small business where she sells food and other products for general consumption. In order to expand her business, she wants to incorporate dairy, meat, soft drinks, ice and other products that need refrigeration. However, currently there's a limitation since in the area where she lives there is no access to electricity. Because of this she has to stock up and have these products refrigerated in coolers, which generates a high cost since she has to buy ice daily which takes away from her earnings. It is for this reason that Kenya is requesting this loan from Soluz Honduras to obtain a solar powered freezer system, which will help better serve her customers and above all she will no longer need to spend money to buy ice and will not have to travel large distances to obtain it. In this way the business will see an increase in profits and her customers will be satisfied.
