A loan helped to make her payment toward a Registered Medic degree.

Elene's story

Elene is a 19-year-old motivated student at the State University. She's from village of Kheledi, and has family who can't afford Elene's higher education fees.

She's struggling to pay her second year tuition, so she started to seek funding from local creditors. She has a great will to enhance her knowledge as a Registered Medic and studies hard to get the opportunity to become certified.

After requesting a loan from local creditors, Elene can receive the needed amount thanks to a joint initiative of Kiva and Credo Bank's Educational Program that gives poor people the chance to get a higher education.

She's a very confident about her potential. After graduation from the university, Elene believes she'll have a lot of opportunities to compete and will find a good job in her profession.
