Seabata's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase the ACE-1 hybrid energy system for cooking, lighting and charging in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Seabata's story

Seabata is a 63-year-old man who lives in a multi-bedroom house with three children. Seabata works as a shopkeeper but struggles with buying multiple fuels and insufficient income. He spends the most amount of his energy expenses on electricity, paraffin and gas, which costs up to LSL311 per month. He also spends as much as one hour per day, gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.

Seabata bought the ACE-1 cookstove to help him and his family save the money spent every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices anytime for free. The ACE-1 clean cookstove is biomass- and solar-powered. For more information on the ACE-1 cookstove, please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy.
