A loan helped to reactivate her shop and bakery.

Maira Jacqueline's story

Maira Jacqueline lives with her family in Manta, a beautiful place known for its hard-working people, who make their living from fishing and trading.

Maira is a woman who strives to make an honest living. This why she decided years ago to set up a shop and a bakery in her home, which enabled her to provide a variety of staple goods.

However, from the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic her business has been affected as sales have fallen and customers who frequented her business no longer come out of the fear of being infected. For this reason, she took the decision to close her business for a while.

Now, she is seeking a new loan to reactivate her business and continue to make an income so as to move forward.

She will invest this loan to reactivate her shop and bakery.

Her dream is to continue to improve her business.
