Charite's story

Charite is a refugee, but more than that, he is a husband and business owner. He has a proven track record of success. Since he opened his cafe business, it has gained a good reputation in the camp and has a strong base of loyal customers.

It all started in 2006 when Charite fled the violence in Congo that was due to political instability. After resettling in one of Rwanda's refugee camps, Charite quickly started his business to provide for his family.

After participating in AEC’s business training program focused on improving financial management and increasing sales, Charite requested a loan to grow his business even more. This loan will help him To add more products to his cafe business, offering his community more options and giving him the opportunity to build a better life through the growth of his business.
