Susan

Susan is a resident of Concepcion, Iloilo. She is 48 years old, married and has three children. To earn an income, she and her family do fishing. They have been engaged in fishing as their livelihood for many years. Aside from fishing, she also runs a small store for additional income.

Now she is asking for a loan of PHP 20,000 through Kiva’s field partner, CEV (A Microfinance NGO) in the Philippines. She will use this loan to buy a fishing net.

Susan wants to expand this business in the future and become successful for her children.
