Miranda's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped a villager lady to work and plant part of her lands with garlics during the winter season so she will be able to make a good income for her family.

Miranda's story

Miranda is a 57-year-old villager lady from Lushnja city. She is married and proud mother of three adult children, all living, working and studying at the capital city of Albania, Tirana.

To provide for her family Miranda does different agricultural activities. She has 50 hens from which she sells the eggs and poultry; she plants different vegetables for her family consumption; she plants half of her lands with grain, so she can make the wheat for the bread; half of her lands remains usually unused during the winter seasons. Miranda is hoping for Kiva lenders support to work and plant part of her lands with garlics during the winter season so she will be able to make a good income for her family. "Most of my villagers planted garlics last year and they made a good profit, I hope I can plant this year and make an income for my family!"-said Miranda hopefully during the interview.

Miranda's husband is a fisherman. Miranda helps him with the cleaning whenever she can, so he can make a better income.

Miranda thanks all Kiva lenders in advance for the support given and wishes all the best for a prosperous end of the year to everyone, even though in difficult COVID-19 times.
