Noong Luong 30 Group's story

Tinh is a 26-year-old Thai woman and she is a member of a group. Tinh is married and she has two children. Her son is in 6th grade and her daughter is in pre-school. Her family lives in a small house on stilts in a poor village in Dien Bien province of Vietnam.

She and her husband run different errands like growing rice and vegetables, to raising pigs and chickens to earn a living. She works very hard and always wants to expand her husbandry to improve her family's economic condition.

Therefore, after two loans and their successful repayment, she has decided to get a loan for the third time from Anh Chi Em program. She wants the loan to invest in buying fingerlings, because she has realized that the fish is less disease prone and hence the risk factor in the business is low.

She also hopes to receive technical support from the Anh Chi Em program staff during the loan process. That way she can gain more knowledge and skill in raising fish. If the investment is successful, she will continue to invest. In the group, she is standing first from the right
