Santa Ana Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy chickens and chicken feed.

Santa Ana Group's story

The communal banking group called "Santa Ana" is in its 7th loan cycle with the program for the committee on women. They are also part of the program for the elimination of poverty. One of the group members is Maria. She works selling chickens, and it is through this work that she supports her family.

She is a humble person with a desire to get ahead and to look for ways to offer the best to her loved ones so that they will not have to live in need.

She is asking for a loan in order to buy chickens and chicken feed. In this way she will be able to continue with her work.

Observation: There is only one person in the photo but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group picture due to restrictions against large group gatherings caused by COVID-19.
