Mujeres Unidas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy drinks, bread, meat, vegetables, fruits, and other products.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The communal bank group called Mujeres Unidas was formed with the union of friends and neighbors in the city of Caaguazú. They are seeking for a way to improve her quality of life and that of her loved ones. They are in their second cycle of the women's committee program. They are also part of the poverty elimination program.

Maria is one of the members. She has a small grocery store at her house where she sells first necessity articles. She mentions the business has allowed her to help her family and give them a better quality of life. She started in a small way and thanks to her effort has grown little by little. She wants to keep doing it, this is why she joined the group.

Maria is requesting a loan to be able to buy drinks, bread, meat, vegetables, fruits, and other products to be able to keep with her sales as she has been doing.

Note: In this picture, there is only one person but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo to avoid the gathering of people because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
