Eugenia's story

Eugenia is a 44-year-old woman from the village of Todiresti, in the Ungheni region of Moldova. She is married and lives with her husband and three children who make her happy. She and her family have lived in their own house all their lives. Eugenia works as a salesperson in a grocery store in the village, but her husband is a farmer. Together they are raising sheep. She is a hardworking woman and for that reason, she succeeds. In addition to the job, she has to help her husband in hard work. They own 70 sheep. In order to have something to feed them, they also have three ha of land where they grow alfalfa and corn. She sells her cheese and meat at the market and to the people from the village, to order. The products obtained are of a high quality and Eugenia always manages to have satisfied customers. The income obtained from sales is invested in business and family maintenance. The business is big and the expenses are the same.

Now, Eugenia needs a Kiva loan to buy another 30 sheep to expand the business. As a result, she will be able to expand the farm capacities and will continue to ensure her customers with high quality farm products.
