Mercy's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more rice, oil, vita, soap, charcoal, and pepper to sell.

Mercy's story

Mercy is 25 years old. She is living together with her partner, along with three children who are schooling and live at home. Mercy is a high school graduate.

Mercy runs a business in a shop selling rice, oil, vita, soap, charcoal, pepper, and other items. She got her initial capital from her partner and her mother taught her how to sell.

Mercy has been operating her sales for eight years and describes herself as a hardworking businesswoman. Mercy uses a car to transport supplies to her business site.

To maintain her business, Mercy has asked for a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva Field Partner. With this loan, she will buy more rice, oil, vita, soap, charcoal, and pepper to sell to her good clients.

Mercy likes her business, because it helps her a lot. In the future, she wants to continue her children's education.

Mercy is highly grateful for the financial support rendered.
