Fatu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy more dried and fresh fish to sell.
Fatu is a 42-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her partner and six children. She attended school up to 4th grade, and today all of her children attend school. Fatu runs a business where she sells dried and fresh fish, and has requested a Kiva loan to expand her business by buying more fish to sell. She plans to use the profit she earns to pay for her children's education. Sales from the business will help shoot her profit margin high and also increase her cash inflows, which will allow her to grow her business and improve her living standards. The current lockdown brought her business to a standstill because transport was banned. In the future she would like to become a big businesswoman. She offers her sincerest thanks to Kiva and Kiva lenders.
