San Blas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase pins, thimbles, measuring tapes, fabrics, buttons, etc.

San Blas Group's story

The San Blas group was formed between friends and neighbors in the city of Luque. They were all looking for a way to improve their own and their loved ones’ quality of life. They are in their 5th cycle of this woman’s program. They are part of a program that eliminates poverty, where everyone fights for a better quality of life.

One of them is Marciana, who makes a living by sewing. She makes masks and patches clothing. She also places appliques on party dresses and wedding dresses. She has an established client base that comes to her and it has been going very well. Her goal is to continue growing and continue with her work as she is the provider for her family.

She is requesting a loan to purchase sewing supplies such as pins, thimbles, measuring tapes, fabrics, buttons, etc. to continue making garments.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo but this is a group loan. It is not possible to get a group photo as gatherings of people are being avoided due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
