A loan helped to buy fabric, poplin, and lace.

Karim's story

Karim has a seven-month-old child. He sells fabric, lace, and sewing accessories from a store he opened more than two years ago. He is in his fifth loan cycle with the microfinance institution Yikri and is making timely payments. He repaid his first Kiva loan.

He has requested a new loan to buy fabric, poplin, and lace to resell to his customers. He will use his profits to reinvest in his business and set aside savings to improve his family's living conditions. He encourages everyone to protect themselves from the COVID-19 virus.
