01_Niakh Jerinu Group's story

This group consists of four women in their 'banc villageois' located in their zone which was formed in June 2015. They live in the same area and enjoy good relationships. They have repaid several loans. Business is their main activity.

Diabu is their representative. She is on the right in the picture with her hand raised. She is 41, married, with six children, two of which are girls and four of them are in school. Diabu runs a business of selling fabrics, jewelry and cosmetics, which she buys in the central market and then sells locally. She has more than 10 years of good experience in sales.

With the loan, she will buy supplies of waxed material and veiling. Also jewelry, perfume, dozens of containers of body milk, soap which she will then sell with a mark up. She always sells her products without difficulty.

With the profits, she will increase her savings at the 'banc villageois' and take care of certain needs for her children.
