Sherilyn Yaseli is 21 years old and is a single, enterprising young woman. She lives with her family in the city of Cartagena. She began her sewing business through working with a family member and she learned. With the support of her family she has purchased various sewing machines. She went out on her own and created her own brand. She fused her intelligence and ability together to create this financial opportunity which has generated excellent profits and earnings.

Sherilyn makes all types of garments including blouses, dresses, shirts, skirts, pants, etc. Her main clients are family members, friends, neighbors, acquaintances, passer-by’s and referrals. Due to the pandemic, her sales were affected. She maintained her income because she continued dressmaking. She is looking for a way to mitigate the impacts of Covid-19 and is applying for her first loan with CrediKiva through the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo to purchase fabric, threads, buttons, zippers, cotton batting, etc. This small business owner hopes that her business will flourish and contribute to the creation of jobs and well-being for families. Support her, she will be successful with her new business idea.
