Manushaqe's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped an elderly woman to pay for the winter season planting expenses of leeks, cabbage, and other typical vegetables, so she will be able to keep providing for her family.

Manushaqe's story

Manushaqe is a 64-year-old woman. She is married and the mother of two grown-up children, who are 29 and 34 years old. Her older son lives with his family in Greece, while Manushaqe, her husband, and her youngest son live in a very rural village with beautiful scenery in southern Albania.

Agriculture is the main activity of locals for earning an income, and Manushaqe has been doing this these past 20 years. Throughout the years, she’s been able to establish a strong clientele that gives some sort of financial security to her.

Manushaqe is requesting for the third time a Kiva loan to be able to pay for the winter season planting expenses of leeks, cabbage, and other typical vegetables, so she will be able to keep providing for her family. She will wait patiently for Kiva lenders' understanding and financial help.
