Esperanza Asegurada : Grupo 2 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase merchandise to sell such as flour, rice, oil, vegetables, grains, milk, dresses, shirts, sandals, etc.

Esperanza Asegurada : Grupo 2 Group's story

Geranise is a Haitian immigrant woman who came to the Dominican Republic in search of better living conditions for herself and her family thirteen years ago now.

Geranise is the mother of four children who are her reason to get up every day and give her best in the search for daily sustenance.

Geranise began with a small informal street vending business but, with time, she needed more income and decided to set up a stand where she sells flour, rice, oil, vegetables, grains, milk, sugar, seasonings, butter, etc. and also sells clothing such as skirts, pants, shirts, t-shirts, shorts, dresses, sandals, and other things.

With the income generated by the sales, Geranise helps support her family.

Geranise asks for this loan to purchase new merchandise and to stock her businesses.
