A loan helped to pay for land filling around her house.

Sophorn's story

Most Cambodian people could make a profit from day to day by growing crops with their family. Sophorn, one of them, is a rice cultivator living in Bakan district, Pursat province. She is 41, married, and is a responsible mother of two children who're attending school. Sophorn and her husband help each other to ensure a better standard of living by increasing their productivity at the field. Consequently, she aims to expand planting of various kinds of seasonal crops like potatoes, beans, and vegetables on their existing farmland, around two hectares of size, at their province.

Because of the shortage of her financing, she has applied a loan amounting to KHR 6,000,000 to pay for land filling around her house. With this loan support, she can pay for land filling and can provide her family members with good environment, fresh air, protect from illness and living in good conditions and can cover the mud around her house. In the future, she aims to renovate her old house and push her children to continue studying at university. She sends thanks to all lenders who have contributed their funds to help poor fellows like her.
