Nuriza's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy livestock and increase her livestock-breeding income.

Nuriza's story

This lovely 25-year-old is Nuriza. She is married, with two young children, has a secondary education, and has been raising livestock and growing crops since 2013. This is her family's main source of income. Thanks to Nuriza's hard work and her husband's help around the farm, it presently consists of four cows and four sheep.

In order to develop her business further, Nuriza is asking for support from Kiva in the amount of 150,000 som (KGS), to buy livestock. Her aim in this is to increase her income by breeding her herd. The income generated by the loan will help her expand her farm through a pedigree sheep breeding program and also build a new home.

Nuriza is shown in the photograph with one of her children.
