Nua Ngam 25 Group's story

Ms. Thanh, 36 years old, is a Thai ethnic woman who is married and has two children: the oldest daughter is in 10th grade and the youngest daughter is in 2nd grade. Her family consists of 6 people, lives in a house on stilts in the mountains north of Vietnam, where agriculture is the main income activity.

Due to difficult circumstances, since childhood, she only completed primary school and followed her parents to work in the fields. Therefore, she wants her children to have enough education to have a better future. She works very hard and always strives to expand her husbandry to develop her family economy. Therefore, in addition to growing rice, she also grows maize, cassava, and raises buffaloes, chickens and ducks to increase production. She wanted to invest in buying winch to support her in milling and buying ducks to expand her husbandry, but due to lack of capital, she decided to get a loan from the Anh Chi Em program. She hopes that her experience together with the technical support from the Anh Chi Em program staff, the investment will be successful and profitable.
