A loan helped to buy wood and other equipment for the renovation of her home.

Koemsey's story

Koemsey is 37 years old, married, and has two children. She operates a small convenience shop at home, selling a variety of merchandise such as snack food, sweets, and noodles to local people in her community. From this business, she is able to generate income in the amount of 20,000 KHR per day to cover her daily costs although her husband is the main income provider in the family. He works in the agriculture business selling to the local traders in each harvest season.

Koemsey's house is currently under construction and she needs more materials to finish it. Due to a shortage of money, she requested a loan, which she will use to buy wood and other equipment for the renovation of her home. She hopes that, through the help of the loan, she can provide everyone in her family with a suitable place to live and comfortable living conditions.
