Pes's story

Pes is 57 years of age. She is married and has four children living in Bakan District, Pursat Province.

She is a conscientious rice farmer who owns and manages around two hectares of farmland. She usually works in this type of business along with her spouse twice a year, together, earning in the vicinity of USD 6 each day. She has been doing this for almost 13 years old.

Rice farming is the sole of her family’s income. She aspires to achieve financial stability and provide her children with comfortable living conditions.

As of now, she is requesting a loan to build a safe latrine at home. In this way she hopes to increase the value of her home, improve sanitation, ensuring healthy living conditions to safeguard the health of her family and protect the environment. With this loan support, she is able to purchase construction supplies such as bricks and cement to build a safe latrine and pay for labor cost.

In the future, she aims to build biogas and build a new small house for living.
