Manantial Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy ingredients to make "chipas" [cheese bread] and "alfajores" [sandwich cookies], such as flour, eggs, shortening, sweets, salt, cheese, and other products.

Manantial Group's story

There are 18 women who belong to this group called Manantial. They set a goal of being able to grow, not only economically but also personally, so they can help their loved ones. They're also in the poverty-elimination program.

Each one of the members of this group stands out for her work and desire for self-improvement, but standing out among them is Claudia, who works making "chipas" [cheese bread] and "alfajores" [sandwich cookies] to sell. She prepares them herself every day from very early in the morning, then sells them as a street vendor. Through this job she earns the means to be able to help her family and cover their daily needs.

She's grateful for the opportunity to be able to join the group, which will be a big help to her in being able to realize her goals.

She's requesting this loan to be able to buy ingredients to make her chipas and alfajores, such as flour, eggs, shortening, sweets, salt, cheese, and other products.
