Jesús Nos Ama Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy new clothes and shoes, basic grains such as rice, sugar, beans, corn, and other products.

Jesús Nos Ama Group's story

These are the determined and enterprising women who make up the Communal Bank named “Jesús Nos Ama” from Matagalpa, Nicaragua. One of the members, who is also the youngest, is Margine Izamar. In the photo, she is the fourth person from the right who is wearing a beige blouse and blue jeans. She just turned 21 years old and has a 12-month-old baby.

Margine serves as the secretary of the Communal Bank. She joined this group a year and six months ago. Her hope is to improve each day in her business and as a person. She has a store that needs to be restocked, so she is making an urgent loan request. Margine plans to buy merchandise, such as new clothes and shoes. Part of her loan will also be used to buy basic grains such as rice, sugar, beans, corn, and other products. Her store is her main source of income that enables her to get ahead in her studies and to raise her child.

Please support these women. A loan not only empowers them, but it will also transform their families and communities!
