Dufatanye-Nkotsi Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a large quantity of bananas in order to make a local drink to sell.

Dufatanye-Nkotsi Group's story

Fabronie is a 55-year-old widow with three children aged between fifteen and 25 years. For the past fifteen years she has been making and selling urwagwa, a locally brewed beer, to the community.

Fabronie is the leader of the Dufatanye-Nkotsi group; in the photo she is holding a piece of paper. Although a widow, she said she initially avoided requesting help from others. Eventually she changed her mind and started working with VisionFund Rwanda. Members of her group like her very much, as she is a person who likes to encourage people who are discouraged in life.

Fabronie will use her loan to buy a large quantity of bananas in order to make urwagwa to sell. With the profits from her sales she will be able to renovate her house, support her family and put away some savings. She is thankful for your support.
