Mujeres Exitosas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy sewing materials like fabric, buttons, flour, clothing fasteners, and thread, and some office supplies for her bookstore.

Mujeres Exitosas Group's story

This group is called Mujeres Exitosas. All the women are looking for ways to be able to grow and get ahead, and with this be able to give their families the best. They're also in the poverty-elimination program, in which they all fight for a better quality of life for their loved ones.

Among them it's worth mentioning and highlighting Carmen, who works designing fashion and clothing. She also has a bookstore in her house. She said her work is her livelihood and she helps support her household and her family with it. She's an enterprising person who started with very little and has been growing thanks to her constant effort and dedication.

She's happy about the opportunity to join the group, which will be a big help to her in being able to invest in her job and, that way, continue working, as she has been doing.

She's requesting this loan to be able to buy materials to make her garments, such as fabric, buttons, flour, clothing fasteners, and thread, and for her bookstore she bought some office supplies like pencils, notebooks, white paper for homework, erasers, file folders, etc.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo but this is a group loan. A group photo wasn't possible because of social distancing during the Covid-19 pandemic.
